Our cosmetic containers come in a variety of materials. While using a plastic case alone—made from ABS, PC, PS, or other food-grade plastics—may be acceptable for storing dry items such as pills under long-term, dry, and stable conditions, it is not suitable for liquid or creamy cosmetic products. Plastic materials can undergo subtle reactions with moist cosmetic formulations, which may alter their properties or even cause degradation. For users, this is not cost-effective. Although plastic cases are lightweight, easy to screw together, and available in specific capacities—making them highly practical for standard packaging—they fall short for wet cosmetics.
To address this, we have developed a silicone insert that fits snugly inside the plastic case. Designed to be form-fitting, it does not compromise the inner capacity. Made from food-grade silicone, this insert remains highly stable and generally does not react with mild cosmetic ingredients. Even after one or two years of use, it stays intact without damage.
Moreover, when the product is nearly finished, the silicone insert can be removed from the plastic case. This allows users to scrape out every bit of the formula cleanly, avoiding waste caused by product sticking to the inner walls of the plastic container.
The insert is available in customizable colors, with our engineers able to match standard shades as needed. Additionally, with the insert in place, screwing the lid onto the plastic base creates an even tighter seal,offering better protection for the contents (Chicarubber)
