This cover protects all the plastic parts of the remote that could get whacked into if I dropped the remote, but it doesn’t interfere with any access to the buttons, the screen, the rear joystick storage spots, the fan vents, the antennas, or the little screw-in lugs where I clip my lanyard. The nice gentle texture keeps it easy to grip even when my hands are sweaty. Even has the same characters printed on the rubber cover as are on the remove so if you’re used to glancing at it to see which way to slide the flight controls for Cine/Normal/Sport or go/pause, those cues are still there for you to see.
